1. Introduction

Face Swap is a mobile application that allows users to create face-swapped images using images from our application as base image and photos from user`s device as face image to be placed on the base image. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our application.

By using Face Swap, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Photos and Images

Face Swap requires access to your device's photo library to:

• Allow you to select photos for face swapping
• Share face-swapped images through your device's sharing features

Important: Photos are processed locally on your device and sent to our servers only for face swap processing. We do not store your original photos on our servers after processing is complete.

2.2 Device Information

We may collect certain information automatically, including:

• Device type and operating system version
• Unique device identifiers (UUID format)
• App version and usage statistics
• Network connectivity information

2.3 Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the app, such as:

• Features used within the application
• Error logs and crash reports
• Performance data

2.4 Purchase Data

If you buy an optional top-up pack through RuStore's in-app payment system, our servers receive and store a minimal purchase record from RuStore to confirm and credit your purchase: the product purchased, its price, the RuStore invoice/order ID, purchase status, and the timestamp. This is linked to your anonymous app GUID, not to your name or any RuStore/VK account. See Section 7, "In-App Purchases and Payments," below for how this works and what RuStore itself collects.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Face Swap Processing: To process your images and create face-swapped results
• App Functionality: To provide, maintain, and improve our services
• User Support: To respond to your requests and provide customer support
• Analytics: To understand how users interact with our app and improve user experience
• Error Handling: To identify and fix bugs and technical issues

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

Images and app preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing app data through your device settings.

4.2 Server Storage

When you use face swap features:

• Your images are temporarily uploaded to our servers for processing
• Processed images are sent back to your device
• Original images are automatically deleted from our servers after processing
• We may retain minimal metadata (such as device UUID) for service improvement purposes

4.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure server infrastructure
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and authentication

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Permissions We Request

Face Swap requests the following permissions:

• Internet Access: Required to communicate with our servers for face swap processing
• Photo Library Access: Required to select photos from your device
• Storage Access: Required to save app preferences to your device
• Network State: Required to check internet connectivity

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit app functionality.

6. Third-Party Services

Our application may use third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services: For app distribution and analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
• RuStore (VK LLC): For app distribution and, if you choose to make an in-app purchase, for processing that payment via the RuStore Pay SDK — see RuStore Privacy Policy and Section 7 below

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

7. In-App Purchases and Payments

Face Swap offers optional in-app purchases ("top-up packs" of additional Standard/HQ face-swap credits). These purchases are only available when the app is installed through RuStore and are processed using RuStore's Pay SDK, operated by VK LLC (the company behind the RuStore app store) — not by us directly.

7.1 What happens when you buy a top-up pack

• The payment screen (card entry, SBP, SberPay, etc.) is provided entirely by RuStore's Pay SDK. You never enter card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials into our app — that information goes directly to RuStore/your bank and is never seen or stored by us.
• If you are signed in with a VK ID, RuStore may use that account to process the payment; this authentication is handled by RuStore, not by our app.

7.2 What we receive and verify

After a purchase, our server independently verifies it directly with RuStore's own API before crediting your account, to prevent fraudulent or duplicate credits. This exchange gives us only: the RuStore invoice/order ID, the product (SKU) purchased, and its confirmation status. We do not receive, and cannot see, your card number, bank details, or RuStore/VK account credentials.

7.3 What RuStore itself processes

Separately from what we receive, RuStore (VK LLC) independently collects and processes data needed to complete your payment — for example device identifiers, VK ID account data (if you're signed in), and your chosen payment method details — under RuStore's own privacy policy, not this one. Please review the RuStore Privacy Policy for details on how RuStore handles this information.

7.4 Purchase records and refunds

We keep a record of each purchase (product, price, invoice ID, timestamp) linked to your anonymous app GUID for accounting, support, and fraud-prevention purposes — see Section 11, "Data Retention." Top-up packs are consumable digital goods; once credits are used, the purchase generally cannot be refunded. If you believe a purchase was charged incorrectly or not delivered, contact us at the email in Section 16 with your invoice ID, or contact RuStore support directly — refunds for RuStore payments are ultimately handled under RuStore's own refund policy.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

9. Children's Privacy

Face Swap is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

You have the following rights regarding your information:

• Access: Request access to your personal information
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information

Processed images are deleted from our servers immediately after delivery to your device. Device identifiers may be retained for analytics purposes but are anonymized and cannot be linked to individual devices or users.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our application, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Notifying you through the app or via email for significant changes
